GECC was planted by the late Rev. Jean-Maxi Demosthene, in the late 1980’s in a densely populated urban area in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, approximately 15 minutes by car from Haiti’s International Airport of Mais-Gaté.
GECC is designed to serve the community’s believers in finding a place of worship and fellowship that is warmly welcoming to all groups of people, while remaining intentional in its faithful interpretation and application of the Scriptures in family-life. After nearly fifty years of ministry all throughout Haiti; evangelizing, planting, and pastoring several churches in the strength of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the power of God's Holy Spirit, then retired Rev. Jean-Maxi Demosthene invested in a small building close to his residence in order to continue ministering to the people of his community.
Currently, GECC is an assembly of nearly 200 and experiencing new growth. A new place of worship has been under construction. The earthquake of January 12, 2010 has caused some damage to the still incompleted building. The construction was mostly undertaken and supported by personal contributions mostly from Rev. Gide Demosthene, Overseer, and small contributions from RGEM International whenever funds are available. GECC is opened to external donations, mission visits, and various forms of ministries of compassion with the purpose to empower the people of its community.

Pastor Fidel and Nenita Batiancila and Family
Actively engaging its community for Jesus Christ, ANLFCC was planted by pastor Fidel Batiancila in Cebu City. As a devoted husband and father, and committed evangelist with Campus Crusade for Christ, Fidel continues to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the city's families, and to those who are still in the far regions of the country side--bringing into the fold of the kingdom of God all those that are destined to salvation, and who are called by God's Spirit through this faithful ministry in this beautiful city located in the Philippines.
Pastor Fidel and his wife Nenita have developped another ministry in the church as an opportunity to reach out to neighbors and minister also to a new generation--a kindergaten I and II level school. Many parents have attended ANLFCC as a result of their children who are enrolled at the school. This growing congregation is filled with talented musician members who also lead the worship on Sunday morning. Donation to ANLFCC's church ministry and school can be made directly to pastor Fidel or through RGEM International.
