Redeeming Grace is a non-denominational evangelical parachurch & church community, empowered by the Spirit of God to minister to an intercultural congregation of people who seek a dynamically transformational Bible-centered church ministry which engages the world, and whose leadership is dedicated in faithful service to all of God's people, through compassionate holistic redemptive ministries with the purpose to help build up and sustain intact families, and diverse kinds of family structures from various cultures in the body of Jesus Christ--God's ultimate blessing to the nations.
We believe, in the beginning, God created an intact family. The foundation of this truth is expressed very early in the Bible’s Genesis narratives in chapter 1 verses 26-28. The creation of people as male and female in the image and likeness of God, granted humanity their ultimate blessing to be God’s vice-regent over all of creation, and then to multiply and fill the earth with blessed families.
This divine order to Adam and and his wife Eve, creation’s first intact family, is extended to everyone who have lived through the generations and to us who are living in the 21st century and in the years beyond. Apart from God’s presence, the intact family is God’s most amazing blessing to every man and woman and child. Nothing else is more sacred or more valuable than the unity and love shared in this primary culture of family-life. However, we acknowledge that sin has greatly impacted God's special family design for humanity, and thus the family is exposed to various kinds of brokenness and perils. Contextually, while many others may freely choose from different forms of family arrangements and lifestyles; we believe and we are convinced, that the intact family, as created in the image and likeness of the Holy Trinity, remains God’s ideal and irrevocable perpetual blessing for His children in Jesus-Christ--as fulfilled through Christ's Church. In this Church setting, every form of family may come and partake of God's profound redemptive love and mandate for family-life in the here-and-now. Therefore, the Church, Christ's universally redeemed family, is God's precious gift to all kinds of families from all the nations and cultures for spiritual wholeness and Shalom--peace and prosperity and rest.
Redeeming Grace is founded upon these truths. It embraces for its mission God’s vision for the perpetuation and multiplication of redeemed Christian families in contemporary culture and society--as part of the ministry of the church. Therefore, RGEM International serves as a Church and a resource for the advancement of the kingdom of God and the empowerment of all forms of Christian families in all spheres of life in today's societies. Let all the families of the nations praise the Lord!
